Members of the Argentine Group of Suppliers for the Petroleum Industry (GAPP), like ISI and PEFOW, exhibited their products on individual booths, achieving a highlighted participation. Besides, showing the interest for this market, the show was visited by several managers from other companies, members of this powerful group, among them: ASOTEC, BOLLAND, FAVRA, GIRON, ARCAT, DELGADO, MOTOMECANICA and TECNA.

The delegation traveled as a commercial mission, getting an important visitors agenda and interviews with Brazilian counter parties. Among them, it’s good to mention that they had meetings with PETROBRAS’s purchases and technical personnel, related to each company’s specific products. This successful agenda’s arrangement was requested to the Argentina Consulate in San Pablo, through the Exportations Promotion Direction under the Argentina Foreign Office.



The “Rio Oil & Gas” is one of the most important shows related to the petroleum and gas industry in our region. It takes place every two years and gets over thirty thousand visitors from about twenty countries, with six hundred and eighty exhibitors in about thirty thousand square meters distributed into five pavilions.

It’s worth to highlight the presence at this show of the IAPG (Oil & Gas Argentina Institute), together with important argentine companies or through their Brazilian subsidiaries.

During the event’s closing, PETROBRAS announced that Brazil achieved its self-sufficiency regarding the petroleum consumption of the internal market, with the national production of crude.
